A Note From Our Chef, Rakmin Lee

Cooking has taken me from my hometown in Korea to kitchens across New York and San Francisco, but at the heart of it all is a love for flavor, balance, and sharing good food with others. My approach is shaped by global influences from Korean to French to Italian and grounded in modern American cooking. At The Parliament, this philosophy comes to life in a menu that’s refined yet approachable designed to surprise, comfort, and connect.

Can I customize the menu?

Our Executive Chef is delighted to work with you to create a bespoke menu, including plated dinners, buffets, wine pairings, and themed culinary experiences.

Do you offer vegan, gluten, or allergy-friendly options?

Yes, we cater to most dietary needs and preferences. Please inform us in advance so we can ensure a seamless dining experience.

Can we decorate the space?

You may bring in personalized décor, or work with our in-house design team to style the space to match your vision. Restrictions may apply to protect the integrity of our space.

What types of private dining spaces are available?

We offer a selection of elegant private dining venues on the second floor including the Corner Room, The Lexington Room and two signature Penthouses – ideal for celebrations, corporate dinners, or social gatherings.

How many guests can the private dining space accommodate?

Our spaces accommodate anywhere from 6 to 150 guests, depending on the room and desired setup. Please inquire for customized seating plans.

Is there a food and beverage minimum?

Yes, food and beverage minimums vary by room and date. Our events team will provide a tailored quote based on your event details.

Can I bring my own cake?

Outside cakes are allowed with a service fee.

What technology or AV support is available?

Our spaces are equipped with state-of-the-art audiovisual systems for presentations, speeches, or ambient music. Technical support is also available for a fee.

How far in advance should I book?

To secure your preferred date and space, we recommend booking at least 4–6 weeks in advance, especially for peak dates or holidays.

Is there a cancellation policy?

Yes, our cancellation policy varies by event size and timing. Full terms will be outlined in your event contract.

Do you provide event planning support?

Yes. From initial planning to day-of execution, our dedicated private dining concierge will guide you every step of the way.
